The philosophy of Life

The purpose of life is to live a life of Virtue in agreement with Nature. This means rejecting all conventional desires for wealth, power, health, and fame, and by living a simple life free from all possessions. As reasoning creatures, people can gain happiness by rigorous training and by living in a way which is natural for humans. The world belongs equally to everyone, suffering is caused by false judgments of what is valuable and by the worthless customs and conventions which surround society.

Anger Management

Proverbs 16:32: "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city."

If you can control your anger you can rule your own life. Self-control will bring you great victories.

To experience anger is not bad. Anger is an emotion that every human being experiences at times. In fact, we should be angry when we see injustice and ill treatment toward human beings. We get angry at the things people do, that bring sorrow and tragedy to others who are innocent. There is nothing more infuriating than humans killing one another or exploit one another.

The sin is not in experiencing anger, but rather in how we deal with it. We can turn our anger into strength, which in turn can change the things we see that are wrong. If we allow our anger to turn into vindictiveness and we practice the same kind of evil that was sent our way, then we become just as guilty as the one who we are angry at.

We should overcome evil with good and not render evil for evil. We should if it be possible, seek to live peaceably with all men. The challenge is to try to maintain that beautiful feeling of a good and peaceful spirit. But when violated we engage to avenge ourselves, angry that our spirit has been disturbed. But rather than to take vengeance, exercise self-control. Remember that he who lives by the sword shall die by the sword. A person with a crude spirit will soon receive their 'Karma', and is it really that important to upset your spirit for any reason. Is anything in this world important enough to compromise your peace of mind. The anger you are inflicted with is like a cancer that eats your soul. Bitterness will devour you.

We must deal with our anger quickly so that it does not turn on us. You should deal with anger the same day you experience it. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, it only gets stronger the next day. Diligently seek peace and peace shall find you.

Self control or temperance is a virtue and a fruit of the Spirit that we must cultivate if we are to be whole. We must be able to control our temper, as this is part of controlling our spirit. When you are able to do this, you can rule your own life.
Remember: "He who loses his temper, is wrong."
